The following candidates have demonstrated that they can be an asset to the city:

Leland Cheung: Cheung has only spent one term on the City Council, but has distinguished himself as a quick learner and a strong proponent of technology and transparency in a city that has had difficulties embracing both concepts.

This comes the same day Leland was endorsed by the Young Democrats of Massachusetts. "Cheung has a strong track record of taking on tough issues, has been a vocal proponent of housing and education and has made improving relationships between the city and its university community a priority" Almquist said.
